pick me up in your car
take me somewhere nice
make me forget
a loveless life
take me to the stars
take me into your skin
i’ll match who you think i am
i’ll become his twin
ask me what’s missing
what else is there
in love and war
few things are fair
thinking back of
the night we met
when doubts become routine
we’re a solo duet
making me wonder
if i had a heart
things would be different
we’d not fall apart
as you forget me
delete forever
i am still here
you pretend i was never
things carry on
no emotion
waters run wild
river loves the ocean
empty kingdom of
you and i
back to the start
